How to escape from Incheon airport 🛫

There are three ways to reach the city center.

 

1. railway

This is a usual way to get to Seoul for travelers due to the reasonable price, easy way to ride on.

 

You better to consider this option if you will stay nearby Seoul station or Hongdae. 

these railways are two types that a regular train and an express train.

In a previous content, I explained about T- money card.

there is a place you can buy a T-money card just right next to the ticket vending machine for this train.

 

 

2. Bus

if you plan to stay southern part of Seoul or provinces like Gyeonggi-do or Chung cheong-do 

better to take another flight or take an airport bus.

because it is faster and more comfortable than a railway in this situation.

 

many buses don't operate due to corona for temporary, but I'll update details later on when this confinement is gone.

 

because of this issue, I can't tell you all the information about it at the moment. still here is the way to go to Gangnam for instance.

 

for example you can 1) find the ticket office after you exit the door on 1st floor. then 2) go to the platform such as 4A-2, and then 3) show the ticket to the bus driver.

3. Taxi

 

The most important thing is you shouldn't get rip-off.

usually when you take the taxi, it costs around 50,000-60,000 and takes time approximately 1hour- 2 hours. (it depends on traffic for sure.)

 

so I recommend you to use this app. it shows approximate time and cost reflected the condition of the traffic.

 

the name of the application is "Naver map" (네이버지도)

 

maybe if you are a company like 3-4 people and wanna take the taxi during daytime (not rushhour) it can reasonable choice.
